When we opened our doors in December 2015, we set out with a goal to be the best Tyre shop in the Albany area. Our team’s Passion, experience, use of quality products, and extensive service offerings has quickly turned our goals into a reality, with Harv’s Tyres quickly becoming the premiere destination for all your vehicle service needs.
We’re here to get your car performing it’s best and we make that happen by offering high quality customer service. Family and locally owned, You know you will always receive a warm greeting from our friendly staff, who always make sure to ask the right questions about your vehicle and budget, so that we can match the right tyres to your car.
At Harv’s, your safety is our #1 priority. We have seen too many customers come through with poorly serviced vehicles and tyres, which has prevented their cars from handling and stopping the way manufacturers intended. Most of these customers have no idea of the risk they have been putting themselves and their families through by being delivered wrong information and poor quality tyres.
We guarantee that the tyres we install are suited to your vehicle by assessing the amount of driving you do, the make and model of the car, and your budget. We’ll educate you on your options, so that you can make an informed decision on what is right for your vehicle. All the tyres we stock are tested and approved for Australian roads, giving you the confidence that your new tyres will be long lasting against our motorways and climate.
We’re qualified to work on all vehicle makes and models. So whether you’ve got a new 4×4 or are looking to have your vintage vehicle worked on, we have the expertise to get the job done. A true lover of cars, Kelvin can’t even begin to count how many years he’s been providing customers with quality car service. His time as operations manager and wheel alignment trainer for Goodyear/Dunlop helped establish his expertise and honest service in the Albany Community.
His passion for cars extends well beyond just servicing vehicles, and extends to his personal life as well. His long list of hobbies and accolades includes spending many years as a super stocks driver, car and engine builder, current member of the Vintage Enduro Club of WA, 4×4 driving (one of his favourite hobbies), and was responsible for manager a team of tyre fitters looking after the V8 super cars at Barbagello during his time with Dunlop.
Community Involvement
Our love of cars and the Albany region goes well beyond our business. We love our community and look to get involved and participate as often as we can. Currently you can find us sponsoring and participating in a variety of events around the region. At present we sponsor Albany Speedway driver’s Trent and Mitchel Claybrook, two excellent up and coming speedway drivers.
We also are proud sponsors and supporters of the annual Round the Houses Street Race held here in Albany. An absolute historic event, this race is now only one of two events of this type still going in Australia today. We look forward to participating and supporting this classic event for years to come.
Harv’s Tyres also believes in giving back to the community, and one of the ways we do this is through our participation in Operation Rudolph. This Christmas time initiative gives us the chance to raise much needed funds for the P.C.Y.C. and give back to the local youth.
